GENERAL ASSEMBLY AND BOARD ELECTION

On Sunday, February 28, our church organized the annual General Assembly and its board election. In unanimity, the congregation confirmed Bro. Costel Gramada as the pastor of the church. Then, the pastor submitted nominees for the church board to the congregation, that unanimously voted for the following members:
1. Vasile Bostiog, secretary
2. Mariana Chiosea, treasurer
3. Tavy Bruma, administrator
4. Nicu Sandu, member

The head of the board (or the administrative committee) will be the pastor of the church. The congregation also elected a spiritual team:
1. Costel Gramada, pastor;
2. Nicu Sandu, deacon;
3. Catalin Banu, evangelist;
4. Tavy Bruma, youth leader;
5. Vasile Bostiog, worship leader;
6. Loredana Gramada, Sunday School superintendent and women’s group leader;
7. Anna-Maria Bruma, in charge with the children’s ministry and worship.
The financial report for the year 2009, reports about the field mission and the church activities were also presented. The pastor informed the congregation on the church vision for the year 2010, as well as on the revised short, medium and long-term vision of the church of Urziceni. With the contribution of the ministry team, the pastor outlined the “VISION 2025”, which is the vision of the church for the next 15 years.

THREE DAYS OF PRAYER AND FASTING
Motivated by Joel 2:15, on February 23-25, our church called its congregation to fasting and special prayer for spiritual REVIVAL and RENEWAL.
The congregation was called to pray for:
- the repentance and the spiritual regeneration of the Romanian people;
- the ministries of the church (preaching the Gospel, evangelism, worship, Sunday school, teens and youth ministry, women’s ministry, helping ministries);
- the church ministers and workers;
- the people’s salvation;
- the Lord’s presence through miraculous signs, healings and miracles;
- city of Urziceni (blessing of the local authorities, institutions and the people of the city).

The congregation was also motivated by God’s words in 2 Chronicles 7:14-15: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place”. (KJV)
